Road Trip

As Ms. Woofgang Pug has already posted a very funny blog about the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, I thought it enough to simply link here. I've included the photo, above, as a tease. Our founder is on the far left, wearing the blue AKG button. True to form, she never misses an opportunity to promote our guild, even 650 miles from home.

I've also just finished the first draft of adding link lists for member bloggers and member merchants. I'd call them member shops, but some of them don't have a bricks & mortar presence. So, click away and see what other members are doing!

Casting On

This is the first post for the Atlanta Knitting Guild blog. In the very near future, there should be great Atlanta-area knitting-related stories in this blog. I certainly hope we'll post some pictures of the fabulous finished objects that come out of this group. And I hope members will post stories about the various knit nights they attend, the classes and workshops they've taken, and the Superstars they've met. We should have a long list of links to the blogs of our members and the websites of our shop members. Mostly, I hope this will help us keep in touch with each other as well as help us get the word out to knitters outside of Atlanta. Warm anti-wool weather or not, this is a great place to knit!
